Such was the case for Jacob Byrd, who in two years, at age 29, was running a multi-million dollar sports camps business with some of the biggest names in college athletics. But when pressures began to mount and the business ran into the red, the scars in Jacob’s life revealed wounds that had never fully healed and a misplaced identity that left him searching for a way out.
